Since then, Neil has played in many orchestras, including the SJYS Chamber and Philharmonic Orchestras, and now the CYS Associate Orchestra. Neil is preparing for studying computer science in college, as well as being part of his school’s FRC robotics team. In his free time, Neil enjoys reading as well as playing video games.
Jasper Wang, 15, is a freshman at Palo Alto High School. He studies clarinet with Mark Brandenburg and previously with Susan Macy. His achievements include second place in the 2017 International Golden Era of Romantic Music Competition in American Fine Arts Festival and first place in the 2017 USIMC Young Artist Award. He had the honor to perform in Carnegie Hall in Oct, 2017.
